tilburg.ai is an initiative of Tilburg University, established to responsibly explore innovative applications to integrate AI within higher education, research, and the university community. We are a collaboration between various faculties at Tilburg University, including TSHD, TSB, TLS, TiSEM, and TUNED IN.

Workshops & Advice
Besides practical support in the form of AI tools, we organize workshops and advise teachers, students, and university staff on the responsible use and implementation of generative AI.
- 1. AI-integrated assignments: For example, in the course Marketing in Business for EBE, we developed a role-playing exercise where students use ChatGPT to analyze why products like Google Glass failed.
- 2. Educational expertise: We give guest lectures on GenAI or help lecturers design slide decks about GenAI in their field and its applications.
- 3. Practical workshops: From prompting techniques to building custom tools with LLM APIs, our workshops focus on practicality for faculties and students.

Research & Innovation (R&D Lab)
Our technological development is driven by:
- R&D Lab: Six research assistants specializing in marketing analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence.
- Collaborations: Partnerships with Fontys, BuAS, PIT, Avans, and team sessions at Mindlabs.
- Future vision: Integration of our tools into Tilburg University's IT infrastructure, including automated privacy checks and user monitoring.
